புத்தர் போதி மரத்தடியில் ஞானம் பெற்றாராம்
நானும் தேடுகிறேன்
ஞானத்துக்காக இல்லை
நிழலுக்காக
அமைதிக்காக இல்லை
இயற்கையாக
ஆனால் கண்கள் எட்டும் தூரம் வரை ஒன்றும் காணவில்லை
அனைத்தையும் வெட்டிவிட்டார்கள்!

The Buddha found enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, it seems
I seek it too
Not for enlightenment,
but for a spot of shade;
Not for quiet,
but for a touch of nature;
But as far as sight can reach, nothing is to be seen
Everything has been cut down!
